While 79% of consumers make a shopping list before visiting a grocery or drug store, less than half make a list when buying food and personal care items online. 23.5% of consumers – and 30% of all Millennial consumers – make their shopping lists in their carts at the moment they think of them. CPG brands must make it just as easy to toss a product into an online cart as it would a physical one.
